The owner of a horse farm was arrested Tuesday after police found three horses dead and several more roaming the property, police said.

Animal control, code enforcement and Fulton County police officers were investigating a farm off Camp Creek and Butner Roads about 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Fulton County police spokeswoman Cpl. Partrena Smith said.

Bradon Fulton was taken into custody and charged with animal cruelty, Smith said.

The dead horses were badly decomposed.

Smith said several other horses were found malnourished, roaming about the property in deplorable conditions.
