An online feud turned violent Sunday night when a 20-year-old Minnesota man twice stabbed an 18-year-old who he had been arguing with recently on Facebook, according to sheriff’s deputies in Douglas County, Minnesota.
Deputies were called just before 11 p.m. CDT Sunday to a home in Brandon after a man showed up at the house with stab wounds, authorities said.
Officials found Bailey Scott Zastrow, 18, with injuries to his chest and arm. Deputies said the wounds did not appear to be life-threatening.
Investigators learned Zastrow had fled to the home where authorities were called after he said he was stabbed by Gavin Daniel Johnson, 20.
“Deputies learned that Zastrow and Johnson are (acquaintances) and have recently been (feuding) on Facebook, which led to a physical confrontation … on 2nd Street West,” deputies said in a news release.
Johnson was found at his home in Brandon and arrested without incident, authorities said. Zastrow was taken to a hospital for treatment of his wounds.
Authorities continue to investigate the case.
