Witnesses spotted a 1995 Chevrolet 1500 pickup truck leaving the scene, and that vehicle is how investigators tied the crime to Chambers, according to police.

Chambers remains in the Bell County (Texas) Jail without bond, according to jail records.

Browner remains in the Clarke County Jail without bond, jail records show.
