A DeKalb County man wanted in the homicide of an Athens man was arrested in Texas on Wednesday.
Philmon Deshaun Chambers, 30, of Decatur, who is accused of shooting and killing 32-year-old Rodriguez Rucker, was arrested in Kileen, Athens police said in a news release. He will face a malice murder charge when he’s extradited to Georgia.

A second suspect, 24-year-old Andrea Paige Browner, was also arrested Wednesday and charged with felony murder in connection with the shooting, the release said. Browner and Chambers are allegedly known associates.
On Dec. 14, Rucker was found dead from a gunshot wound near a home on Royal Court, AJC.com previously reported.

Witnesses spotted a 1995 Chevrolet 1500 pickup truck leaving the scene, and that vehicle is how investigators tied the crime to Chambers, according to police.
Chambers remains in the Bell County (Texas) Jail without bond, according to jail records.
Browner remains in the Clarke County Jail without bond, jail records show.
