Police are investigating a decomposing body found Monday near Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway in northwest Atlanta.
The body was found in a wooded area near a Petro truck stop, Atlanta police spokesman Lukasz M. Sajdak said. The cause of death is unknown.
The body was taken to the medical examiner’s office for an autopsy scheduled for Tuesday, according to the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office.
The investigation is ongoing.
