Two people were killed Wednesday when gunfire erupted at a Cedartown home, authorities said.

Police were called to a house in the 1000 block of Cleo Street about 6 p.m. after receiving a call about a woman being shot, Cedartown police Chief James Newsome said.

When officers arrived, they found Tevin Frazier, 25, dead on the lawn from what appeared to be a single gunshot wound, Newsome said. Inside the home, officers found 22-year-old Stephanie Lopez shot to death in the living room.

Investigators are still working to piece together what happened, but authorities said they are not searching for any suspects in the case.
