Cops: Woman shot to death in Atlanta home invasion
Police are investigating a deadly home invasion late Tuesday night in southeast Atlanta.
Just after 11:45 p.m., police were called to a home in the 1600 block of Van Vleck Avenue for a person shot.
Camease Miller, a 30-year-old mother of two , was found shot to death inside a closet in the home, Channel 2 Action News is reporting.
According to Atlanta Police Capt. Tim Peek, the woman was visiting the homeowner, a man who was left unharmed and is now working with investigators to identify the shooter.
Peek said the motive was unknown, but Channel 2 is reporting that police believe the shooter was trying to rob the home.
No description of the suspect was available.
