A Gainesville woman recruited a teenage girl and forced her into having sex for money, Hall County sheriff’s deputies said.

Laronda James Moore, 38, remained in the Hall County jail Tuesday on a sex trafficking charge, according to jail records. The teen was between 16 and 17 years old at the time.

Moore recruited and used the victim for sexual servitude between July 2017 and January, Hall County sheriff’s Lt. Scott Ware said in a news release.

Eric Robertson, 32, is accused of hitting the teen on the face, leaving her with a swollen eye, inside Moore’s Miller Drive home. He was arrested and charged with battery. Authorities also found synthetic cannabinoids on him.
