Police said the altercation may have stemmed from a drug-related robbery as marijuana was discovered at the scene, Channel 2 Action News reported.

Investigators with the Gwinnett County Fugitive Squad believe Bonner, also 19, may have left the state since the shooting, authorities told the news station.

Police said Bonner has ties to the Lawrenceville area, though his most recent address lists him as living in Petersburg, Va.

Anyone who knows his whereabouts is asked to contact Lawrenceville police.
