An Austell man allegedly weaved in and out of traffic to catch up to another driver before blocking her vehicle in and pulling out a handgun to threaten her, authorities said.

Camron Samuwar Fudge, 26, made a scene on the East West Connector last Friday afternoon during the evening commute as the result of road rage, according to Cobb County arrest warrants. He allegedly blocked Fountaine Road during the confrontation.

Police told Channel 2 Action News that Fudge was angry about a woman in a van not letting him merge. He allegedly got out of his vehicle at some point and flashed a gun at her before getting back in his car.

Cellphone video obtained by Channel 2 Action News shows a Smyrna police officer approaching Fudge’s vehicle with his gun drawn.

The couple who took the video, Michelle Kincaid and Ryan Grimes, said the suspect nearly hit their car.

“Just completely almost sideswiped my car. I had to break real hard — honked,” Grimes said.

Fudge is charged with simple assault and reckless conduct, and he’s out of the Cobb jail on a $5,170 bond.
