Reid Jumaane Peterson, 26, of Woodstock, was arrested Wednesday by Woodstock police for multiple misdemeanors, including operating blue lights on an unauthorized vehicle and possession of marijuana, according to the incident report obtained by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

The officer said Peterson was pulled over after the officer allegedly saw his vehicle with flashing blue lights and no running lights, tag lights and an obscured license plate, the report said.

During the traffic stop, Peterson allegedly denied the officer’s request to search his vehicle, so a K9 officer was called in, according to the report. After the K9 gave two positive alerts, the officer had probable cause to search the vehicle and allegedly recovered less than an ounce of marijuana.

Peterson was taken to the Cherokee County Adult Detention Center.
