A Kennesaw man faces a felony charge after allegedly inappropriately touching a young girl who was trick-or-treating with her friends Wednesday, Channel 2 Action News reported.

Michael Eric Watford, 48, faces a charge of sexual battery against a minor along with two counts of simple battery, according to Cobb County Jail records.

He’s accused of groping a 12-year-old girl’s chest and following her and two of her friends after she “told him not to touch them,” a Cobb County police arrest warrant, obtained by Channel 2, said.

He appeared to be dressed up in a pumpkin costume during the incident, which happened around 8:45 p.m., neighbors told the news station.

The warrant did not mention any independent witnesses for Watford’s alleged crimes. Police also told the news station they don’t believe there are any additional victims.

Watford denied Channel 2’s request for comment. Jail records show he bonded out of jail for $7,500, but a judge ordered him to stay away from anyone under the age of 16, the news station reported.
