A grandmother is accused of trafficking $30,000 worth of marijuana while also storing dozens of firearms in her Powder Springs home, authorities said.

Patricia Ann Dearing, 62, was arrested Thursday and faces 13 felonies after the Marietta-Cobb-Smyrna Narcotics team raided her home in the 4500 block of Kathy Circle, Cobb County Jail records show.

Investigators told Channel 2 Action News they found 13.5 pounds of marijuana and an arsenal of guns in a bedroom. Those dozens of firearms included assault rifles, shotguns and handguns, but the specific number of seized firearms was not released.

Authorities don’t believe she was working alone, and Channel 2 reported an investigation into this bust is ongoing.

Dearing’s 13 felony charges include six counts of possession of firearms by a convicted felon or felony first offender, six counts of possession of a firearm during commission of or attempt to commit certain felonies and one count of trafficking marijuana, according to jail records.

As of Friday night, she remained in jail without bond.
