A College Park man wanted for allegedly barging into his ex-girlfriend’s house and threatening to kill her in front of her children has turned himself in.

Jeremiah Kerron Oliver, 25, surrendered to Clayton County deputies Tuesday morning, the sheriff’s office said in a news release.

Oliver had been wanted since July 3, when he allegedly went to his ex’s Jonesboro home and forced his way inside. Deputies said Oliver grabbed the mother of his child by her hair, dragged her outside and hit her in the head three times with a handgun that had an extended magazine.

He is charged with home invasion, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, theft by receiving stolen property, kidnapping and armed robbery for allegedly stealing the woman’s cellphone.

He is being held without bond at the Clayton County jail, records show.
