A 22-year-old University of South Carolina student was caught on camera spitting and pouring chemicals into her roommates’ food in February, police said.
Hayley King is allegedly seen on camera pouring Windex into food in the off-campus apartment she shared with two other young women.
King’s roommates told police they set up multiple surveillance cameras after they began fighting with her.
Police say King confessed to tainting the food. She was charged with "unlawful, malicious tampering with human drug product or food, which is a Class C felony carrying a term of up to 20 years in prison, if convicted. She was released a day after her arrest on a $5,000 personal recognizance bond." (Source: ABCNews.com)
