A Buford man was arrested Tuesday after police said he drove through a Flowery Branch neighborhood and exposed himself to women and children.
Carl Dean Howard Jr., 43, faces two counts of public indecency and one count of child molestation, Flowery Branch police said in a news release. Howard is also being investigated by Gwinnett County police for similar charges there, authorities said.
According to police, Howard exposed himself to residents Monday afternoon while driving through the Sterling On The Lake neighborhood in his Buick.
He was arrested by Gwinnett police the following day on charges of methamphetamine possession and probation violation, records show. He remains held at the Gwinnett County Jail without bond.
According to jail records, Howard has been arrested at least seven times in Gwinnett County since 1999. His previous charges include offenses such as drug possession, probation violation, shoplifting and failure to appear in court.
The investigation into Howard is ongoing, and anyone with information regarding other incidents he may have been involved in is asked to contact detectives with the Flowery Branch or Gwinnett County police departments.
