A pedestrian was hit and killed Wednesday in the intersection of Fulton Industrial Boulevard and Philip Lee Drive, Fulton County police said.
The woman darted across the street and was hit, Fulton County Cpl. Maureen Smith told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. She was identified by the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office as Heather Thurman, 48, of Lithonia. The driver remained on the scene.
The intersection was shut down but has since reopened, police said.
No other details were released on the crash.
Last week, two pedestrians were hit and killed by a Fulton County employee on Ga. 138 at Buffington Road in Union City.
On Aug. 7, Antshanthony Bell, 18, was hit and killed by a car on Ga. 138 near Oakley Road.
