A car overturned on top of two vehicles in Cherokee County on Wednesday afternoon.

A car overturned on top of two other vehicles in Cherokee County on Wednesday afternoon, authorities said.

The wreck happened on Towne Lake Parkway near I-575, Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Jay Baker told AJC.com. He said seven people were involved in the wreck, but no one was seriously hurt.

He said one person was in a red Camaro, one person was in a black Hyundai and five people, including three children, were in a Dodge 1500.

The children were all taken to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, but have since been released.

All eastbound lanes of the road were blocked for about 30 minutes starting around 3:30 p.m., but all have since reopened, Baker said.

No details on what led up to the wreck have been released. The sheriff’s office will conduct an investigation.

Baker said no charges have been filed.
