Police say Jules Jackson, 19, is potentially 'armed and dangerous.'

Jules Jackson, 19, was taken into custody in Kennesaw, police Sgt. Wayne Delk said. Jackson escaped Nov. 2.

Jackson was being monitored at the hospital after officers suspected he ingested “a large amount of narcotics” before his arrest. During the night, when the officers detaining him were changing shifts, Jackson reportedly slipped out.

He was reported missing about 3:30 a.m. and was seen running across the hospital’s roof.

The hospital was placed on a temporary lockdown overnight while officers searched the area.

Jackson faces charges in connection with an armed robbery near a Leland Drive hotel in Marietta. David Roberts, 26, was also arrested in that case.

Jackson is being held without bail on charges of escape, armed robbery, probation violation, failure to appear and giving false information to law enforcement, Cobb court officials said.
