A man accused of stabbing his girlfriend to death has been arrested, Channel 2 Action News reported.
The Barrow County Sheriff’s Office apprehended Ethan Andrew Ramey, 29, of Loganville, early Saturday morning without incident, the station reported.
Deputies were called Thursday to a Hoschton-area home on a report that a woman had fallen on a knife, according to Capt. Cory Almond with the Barrow County Sheriff’s Office. Inside the home on Ga. 124, investigators found Ramey’s girlfriend Kellie Roop, 42, with a wound to her neck.
Roop, 42, of Buford, was taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead, Almond said.
Ramey has been charged with felony murder and aggravated assault, according to police.
