ORIGINAL STORY: Atlanta police are looking for a man they say lit a firecracker and pointed it at a patrol car.

The incident, which happened about midnight Dec. 20, began with the report of an unauthorized event and drag racing, according to Atlanta police spokeswoman Officer TaSheena Brown.

Officers were sent to a location on North Avenue “in reference to a large crowd engaging in drag racing, reckless driving and igniting fireworks,” Brown said.

Police tried to clear the crowd and spotted a man lighting a Roman candle firework toward one of the police cars.

Investigators described the man as about 6-foot-1 and between 220 and 240 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie, brown pants and bright sneakers.
