Police arrested a man Monday in connection with the shooting deaths of two men outside a northwest Atlanta Burger King.

Nicholas Benton was charged with murder for his alleged involvement in the April 24 shooting death of 24-year-old Reginald Coicou and 22-year-old Quincy Wytche.

Coicou was found dead inside a car riddled with bullets at a Burger King along Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution previously reported. Wytche was found next door in the parking lot of the Petro gas station. He died on the way to Grady Memorial Hospital.

“At this time, Coicou’s death appears to be a homicide,” Atlanta police Officer Kim Jones said Monday. “The role of Wytche has not been determined, and his death is being investigated as a death investigation at this time.”

Benton was taken to the Fulton County Jail, Jones said.
