An argument between a man and his longtime girlfriend over a Facebook password turned deadly Sunday night, according to multiple reports.
Police found Kedwin Valerio, 25, suffering from a stab wound while responding to a call at the apartment he shared with his girlfriend in New York City. He was rushed to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead, the New York Post reported.
Authorities took Valerio's girlfriend, whose name was not released, into custody. It was not immediately clear what charges she would face.
The attack stemmed from an argument over a Facebook password, News 12 The Bronx reported. As the argument escalated, Valerio allegedly started throwing things at his girlfriend. She grabbed a sharp object and stabbed him in the chest, New York police told the news station.
Neighbor Betty Perez told the New York Daily News the couple had a tumultuous relationship, although she said Valerio was always friendly.
"The girlfriend and boyfriend were always fighting, everyday," she said.
