Another suspect has been arrested in the kidnapping of the North Carolina man rescued this month in Atlanta, authorities said Thursday.

Quantavious “Kirkwood Quan” Thompson was taken into custody in Atlanta on Wednesday afternoon, FBI spokeswoman Shelley Lynch told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Authorities are searching for another man, Jakym Camel Tibbs, also charged with kidnapping in the abduction of Frank Janssen.

A McDonald’s restaurant stop by the suspects provided a break for authorities.

Prosecutors say Tibbs,21 and Thompson, who is either 18 or 19, drove a rental car to Wake Forest, N.C. on April 5 along with two women, stopping along the way to eat at a McDonald’s in Lexington, S.C. Thompson and Tibbs were seen in video captured inside the restaurant, according to federal criminal complaints obtained by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Investigators found the meal receipt from the Lexington McDonald’s that apparently had been dropped during the kidnapping, prosecutors said.

The FBI is offering a $25,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of Tibbs. Anyone with information is asked to call the FBI at 1-800-225-5324.

Authorities said they think Thompson and Tibbs grabbed Janssen as part of a plot to get back at Janssen’s daughter Colleen Janssen, a prosecutor in North Carolina.

Prosecutors said Kelvin Melton, an inmate serving a life sentence in North Carolina for orchestrating a murder, used a contraband cellphone to plot Janssen’s kidnapping. Colleen Janssen prosecuted Melton.

Five other people have been arrested and charged in the kidnapping plot and are in federal custody.

Tiana Maynard, Jenna Paulin Martin, Michael Montreal Gooden, Jevante Price and Clifton James Roberts were all arrested and charged with kidnapping after Janssen was rescued by a special FBI kidnapping task force on April 10 from a southeast Atlanta apartment.

A judge on Tuesday denied bond to the five Georgia suspects, and they remain in federal custody.
