Sgt. Michael Starvis pretended to be a teenage girl as he used Facebook to chat with teen boys, police say.
The cop would foster a relationship and then offer the boys sexual favors behind their school if they sent him pornographic pictures, according to authorities.
The 6’3", 400-pound veteran of the Bunnell, Fla., police department further lured one young man, police say, by sending him nude pictures of a woman.
The New York Daily News reports Starvis was arrested after an investigation that lasted nearly a year.
The Augustine Record says Starvis has been charged with two counts of violating the Computer Pornography and Child Exploitation Prevention Act. He will also face account of criminal use of personal identification information.
Starvis once worked as as a school officer in Jacksonville, Fla., according to the report.
He could face up to five years in prison if convicted.
