Two men were arrested in Clayton County on Monday after police said the suspects led them on a pursuit at more than 100 mph and shot at them.

Police tried to initiate a traffic stop, but the car continued onto the ramp to I-285 West. At some point, the passenger leaned out of the window and fired one shot at the police vehicle, officials said. No one was hit.
The Audi crashed into a concrete barrier on I-285 after a short pursuit, and both men in the car took off running, according to the statement. A police K-9 unit assisted in tracking the men, who were arrested and booked into the Clayton County Jail just before 5 a.m. Both remain there without bond.
Police identified Jawon Jones, 20, of Atlanta, as the driver. He faces 13 charges related to the incident, including attempting to elude a police officer after committing a felony, speeding above maximum limits and reckless driving, according to online jail records.
Passenger Mohomed Diarra, 18, of Stone Mountain, is being held on charges of aggravated assault upon a public safety officer, possession of a gun during the commission of a crime and possession of a controlled substance.
