Comcast is expanding its Southeast hub in Gwinnett County.
Gov. Nathan Deal said Tuesday that the company, which already employs about 4,000 in Georgia, will add another 300 new jobs.
About 150 will come at a new regional headquarters in Peachtree Corners, where the company is building a four-story building that will feature a high-tech demonstration lab and space for employee training.
The other 150 new jobs will go toward expanding an existing Alpharetta office.
“Today’s news explains what true economic development is all about,” said Deal.
