Clayton County truck driver wins $321K in Georgia Lottery
A Jonesboro truck driver is rolling home with a six-figure windfall from the Georgia Lottery.
Ryan Mack, 26, was one of two local players to win a $321,003 jackpot from May 15’s Fantasy 5 drawing, lottery officials said. He purchased his winning ticket at Peter’s Food Mart on Jodeco Road.
“I couldn’t believe it at first,” Mack said, according to lottery officials. He reportedly had no immediate plans for his winnings.
A second winning ticket from the May 15 drawing was sold in Peachtree City, officials said.
In other lottery news, Friday’s Mega Millions jackpot is currently estimated at $194 million. Saturday’s Powerball jackpot is estimated at $138 million.
