BREAKING: 2 people rescued after small plane crashes into S.C. lake Wednesday

Two people have been rescued by a boater after a plane crash into Lake Jocassee in northwest South Carolina.

Oconee County Sheriff Office crews responded to the plane crash about 1 p.m. Wednesday near Devil’s Fork State Park, according to news station WYFF.

The sheriff’s office told the news station the two people in the plane were wearing life jackets.

They were not hurt.
