Authorities in Cobb County are investigating two wrecks that sent three people to hospitals with serious injuries Saturday.

Just after 5:30 p.m., officers responded to a wreck involving a motorcycle on the entrance ramp to I-75 South from North Marietta Parkway, Cobb police spokeswoman Officer Sydney Melton said.

Marcus Pinson, 49, of Loganville, allegedly lost control of his 2019 Harley Davidson motorcycle, causing it to run off the pavement into the right shoulder of the entrance ramp.

Pinson was taken to WellStar Kennestone Hospital in critical condition, Melton said. His wife was a passenger on the motorcycle, but she was not seriously injured.

About 9:45 p.m., a two-car wreck took place on Woodstock Road at Mabry Road, Melton said.

A 74-year-old man from Marietta was driving a blue 2008 Honda CR-V on Woodstock Road. Victoria Graham, 67, and Dorothy Graham, 81, were in the car with him.

At some point, the Honda tried to turn left onto Mabry Road and entered the path of a 2014 Jeep Wrangler, Melton said. The Jeep, driven by an 18-year-old woman from Marietta, hit it on its right side.

Both drivers were not seriously injured, but Victoria Graham and Dorothy Graham were taken to hospitals with serious injuries, Melton said.

The crashes remain under investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Cobb County Police Department at 770-499-3987.
