A brush fire that disrupted MARTA rail service is out and normal service has resumed, authorities said.

The fire near the MARTA tracks interrupted train service north of the Lindbergh Center station for nearly one hour Friday afternoon.

The agency established bus bridges from Lindbergh to Buckhead and from Lindbergh to Brookhaven until the fire was out, MARTA spokeswoman Stephany Fisher said.

It’s unclear what sparked the blaze.

Northbound and southbound service has resumed, officials said.
