Two burglary suspects were in custody Wednesday and police were looking for a third after the trio led Cobb County police on a chase that ended in a late-morning wreck near Smyrna.

The chase ended when the suspects collided with a patrol car on Paces Ferry Road near Orchard Road.

Two of the suspects ran from their wrecked car, and the third was immediately taken into custody, Channel 2 Action News reported.

A second suspect was later arrested, and police were still searching for the remaining suspect shortly after noon, according to the television station.

The officer involved in the crash was not injured, Channel 2 reported.
