A portion of Ashford Dunwoody Road near I-285 temporarily closed today due to a gas main break reopened shortly after 5 p.m, according to police. Crews remained in the area to repair the leak.

The road closure was affecting travel on I-285 eastbound and traffic headed southbound on Ashford Dunwoody into Brookhaven. The ramp from I-285 eastbound to Ashford Dunwoody was also blocked for about two hours.

Atlanta Gas Light was at the scene and the estimated completion time for repairs was 10 p.m., according to Dunwoody police.
