Officials said two women live at the home and another man was staying there as well.

According to the chief, the women were woken up by their dog barking and saw the porch was on fire. The man spending the night was able to use a garden hose to put out the fire on the porch, but by that time the flames had already spread through the ceiling into the attic.

More than two dozen firefighters were able to control everything in less than 10 minutes and no one was injured.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
