Atlanta police identify suspected Midtown shooter

The suspect tied to the shooting in Midtown that killed one person and injured four was identified by authorities.

Deion Patterson, 24, remains at large and police said residents should not approach him, but instead immediately call 911. Those who may know him or know of his whereabouts are also advised to call police.

Surveillance photos of the suspect were previously released by officials and depict a man wearing a gray sweatshirt, dark pants and a medical mask carrying what appears to be a black gun. A bag or some other item is strapped to his chest.
