Atlanta man, missing since Sunday, found safe

UPDATE: Henry Moran was found safe on Wednesday, according to Atlanta police. He had been missing since Sunday. Police released no details on Moran's whereabouts or where he was located.

“He has been located and in good health,” said spokesman Ralph M. Woolfolk, in an emailed statement.

ORIGINAL STORY: Police issued a Mattie's Call Sunday for a missing 75-year-old Atlanta man with a diminished mental capacity.

Henry Moran was last seen around 2 p.m. on Friday as he was leaving 747 Ralph McGill Blvd. for a walk, according to police spokesman John Chafee.

Moran was last known to be wearing a navy blue and white jacket, blue jeans and black Nike shoes, Chafee said in an emailed statement. He has brown eyes, gray hair and a gray mustache. He is 5’6” tall, weighs about 165 pounds and has a deformed right hand.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Moran is asked to call 911 or the Atlanta Police Adult Missing Persons Unit at 404-546-4235.
