A suspect wanted in an October shooting outside a DeKalb County convenience store was arrested Thursday.

Jasper Keels was identified from surveillance photos circulated by DeKalb police. He is facing a murder charge in the Oct. 14 shooting at the Discount Food Mart on Glenwood Road that killed 61-year-old Michael A. Collier.

According to police, Collier was involved in a fight before he was shot in the parking lot. The police department released photos of a suspect, later identified as Keels, and another man initially believed to be the getaway driver.

Keels is the sole suspect in the shooting death, a police spokeswoman confirmed Thursday. He was expected to be booked into the DeKalb County Jail.
