Moments -- a shared laugh, quiet grief, emotional frustration, a physical clash -- Arvin Temkar captured these and other moments during 2023 while covering the legislature, news and features in metro Atlanta. Temkar joined the visual team at The Atlanta Journal-Constitution in April 2022. The Boston College and Columbia University graduate likes to say he started his newspaper career at 12, delivering papers for the Stars and Stripes. He grew up on a U.S. Army base in Japan.
