I-285 in Cobb County reopened Wednesday afternoon after an accident temporarily blocked eastbound lanes at I-75 northbound.
“A concrete barrier fell off of a truck into the roadway,” the Georgia State Patrol said in an emailed statement just before 11:30 a.m. “A vehicle was hit with debris.”
One person was taken to WellStar Kennestone Hospital, the State Patrol told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
According to Channel 2 Action News, traffic was backed up to the Paces Ferry Road exit. The scene was cleared just before 1:30 p.m.
