• All construction that is scheduled is as the GA-DOT reports it and is weather-permitting, so all times, locations, and lanes blocked may change. Additional projects may turn up during the weekend as well, so listen for live updates on 95.5FM/AM-750 News/Talk WSB.
• Fulton Co.: GA-400/sb at Hammond Dr., in the right lane from 8:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. Sunday. Weather could cancel this.
• Fulton Co.: I-285/nb/sb (Inner and Outer Loop) between MLK Jr. Dr. and Cascade Rd., in the right lane in each direction from 9 p.m. Friday – 5 a.m. Monday. Weather could cut this project short.
• DeKalb/Fulton Co.: Allstate Life Insurance Atlanta 13.1 Marathon will cause several lane or road closures in Brookhaven and Buckhead Sunday from 7 - 11 a.m. These roads will be affected: Peachtree Rd., Johnson Ferry Rd., Ashford Dunwoody Rd., Lanier Dr., Windsor Pkwy., Mabry Rd., and E. Brookhaven Dr. Find the full course map here.
• Crews will be cleaning drains and doing other freeway projects in the overnight hours around town. Remember the “Move Over Law” and drive carefully around these work crews. 

Ongoing Construction and Other Closures:

• If you see construction or other closures in your area, let us know at #750 for free on Verizon Wireless or 404-897-7358 to the Alarm Force WSB 24-Hour Traffic Center. The lines are open 24/7/365.
• Atlanta: Streetcar Construction...Peachtree St./sb near Ellis St. At times, all lanes are blocked. Lanes are blocked on Ellis St. east of Peachtree St., too. Expect big delays at peak drive times. 
• Atlanta: I-85/GA-400 Interchange Work...Buford-Spring Connector/nb ramp to I-85/nb and the I-85/sb HOV ramp to Lindbergh Dr. have re-opened from their long-term closures. Crews sometimes block these ramps and parts of other roads in the area during the middays, weekends, and overnights. 
• Fulton Co.: Utility Work...Lake Forrest Dr. is blocked between Maryeanna Dr. and Stewart Dr. Lanes could be blocked for several months. Detours are in place. 
• Cobb Co.: Bridge Replacement...Paper Mill Rd. is blocked at the Sope Creek Bridge until 10/25. Detours are in place. Use Lower Roswell Rd. as an alternate. 
• Cobb Co.: Bridge Replacement...Canton Rd. will be blocked between Hwy. 41 and the Hwy. 5 Connector until early October. A detour to the Hwy. 5 Connector will be in place. 
• Gwinnett Co.: Lane Shift...Hwy. 316 at Hwy. 20 the travel lanes have been shifted to the outside lanes that will be used as exit lanes once construction is completed.  The speed limit has been decreased in the area. Expect delays off and on in the area.
