A 15-year-old is in critical condition after a shooting at a South Fulton apartment complex Tuesday evening, police said.

Few details were immediately available in the hours after the shooting, but South Fulton police spokesperson Tori Cooper said officers were called to the 4900 block of Delano Road around 6:25 p.m. The area is just west of I-285 near the intersection of South Fulton Parkway and Roosevelt Highway.

At the scene, officials found the teenager suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was taken to a local hospital.

Aside from their condition, Cooper did not release any other details about the teen.

Investigators remained at the scene shortly before 8 p.m., according to Cooper.
