Georgia Lottery player from Fairburn wins $1.2 million on app
Winner played Wolf Ridge Diggi Game.
For one lucky metro Atlanta resident, becoming a millionaire was as simple as picking up their phone.
That’s because they decided to play the Wolf Ridge Diggi Game on the Georgia Lottery mobile app Monday, according to a news release. The big winner, who lives in Fairburn, took home $1,269,160. Their identity was not released.
Diggi Games offer instant prizes, the chance to play a bonus game or a shot at winning the progressive jackpot.
As with other Georgia Lottery games, proceeds from Diggi Games benefit education in the state.
In addition, a Georgia FIVE player won $10,000 in Saturday’s evening drawing. The ticket was sold at a US Amoco station on West Fayetteville Road in Atlanta.
