Three men were taken to the hospital, one of them in critical condition, after a triple shooting Monday night just outside the Perimeter in northwest Atlanta.

Officers responded to reports of multiple people shot in the 900 block of Bolton Road shortly after 8 p.m., Atlanta police said. They found three men suffering from gunshot wounds who were all taken to a hospital. Two of the men were considered stable, but one man’s condition was serious, police said.

The shooting took place in a mostly residential neighborhood near Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway and I-285 and north of Sandy Creek, an offshoot of the Chattahoochee River.

An investigation is underway, and Atlanta police have released no other details. Police did not say whether the men knew each other.
