Johns Creek is on a mission to create a future downtown area within the city’s existing Technology Park. The city is inviting residents and community members to share in the vision at an “Imagine Main Street” event 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 18 outside City Hall, 11360 Lakefield Drive.

In addition to viewing the soon-to-be-completed Town Center Master Plan, the free event will include food trucks, vendors, a bounce house, music, and live streaming of college football.

Residents can view the draft Town Center Master Plan at www.planningatpond.com/johns-creek-town-center-master-plan and join the event as they envision how a future downtown area might look and feel. The plan is currently scheduled to go before the Johns Creek City Council for approval at 7 p.m. Sept. 27 at City Hall.
