At its Oct. 11 regular meeting the Stockbridge City Council conducted a first reading and public hearing for the city’s proposed new unified development code as well as its official zoning map. According to officials, the new UDC would include a number of corrections and clarifications as well as a revision of zoning districts in the city. No one from the public spoke at the public hearing on either matter, and the second reading and possible adoption of both measures was set for the council’s next meeting which is scheduled for Oct. 26.
