For the second straight week, a number of Henry County public schools have closed their campuses. The district announced a transition to remote learning beginning Aug. 31 at Rock Spring Elementary, Locust Grove Middle, Ola Middle, Stockbridge Middle, Locust Grove High and Luella High. School has already been dismissed Sept. 3 for the entire district, and a return to on-campus learning at these locations is anticipated for Sept. 7, according to officials.

The reason given for the suspension of on-campus learning was a consistent increase in the number of individuals at the school required to quarantine. Curbside meal pickup service continues to be available during this time. Information: henry.k12.ga.us.
