Gwinnett in partnership with Building Brains (B2) Anywhere and Building Babies’ Brains is seeking book donations for the G.R.E.A.T. Little Minds Book Exchanges.

Initiated by Gwinnett Coalition for Health and Human Services, G.R.E.A.T (Gwinnett Reading Exchange & Art Transforms) Little Minds is a selection of small book exchanges all around the county.

Members of the community can help instill a child’s love for reading in a fun and interactive way. Simply drop off books, suitable for children ages birth through 8 at a book exchange near you.

The initiative supports the need for an early learning strategy since Gwinnett reports only 48 percent of students enter kindergarten ready to learn.

Not only are the G.R.E.A.T. Little Minds Book Exchanges a fun find for inquisitive children, they also encourage an appreciation for public art.

Locate a book exchange near you at www.tinyurl.com/GwinnettDonateABook.

Information on providing books, becoming a book exchange steward, or requesting a book exchange to be installed near you, email B2Anywhere@GwinnettCounty.com.
