Jim Kuo has been reappointed to serve a full term on the Fayette County Development Authority. The City Council of Peachtree City voted 5-0 at its Sept. 2 meeting to extend Kuo’s current appointment, which began in June when he was chosen to fill an unexpired term left by Sean McMillan, who resigned. That original term was due to end Oct. 1; the new full term expires in October 2025. Kuo currently serves at the senior vice president of manufacturing operations at Hoshizaki America Inc., based in Peachtree City, which manufactures ice machines and related food service industry products.

The nine-member FCDA works with other local business partners to provides services to existing Fayette County businesses considering expansion, as well as to companies outside the county who might be looking to enter the local market.
