As Georgia was getting ready to play Alabama for the national championship, the Bulldog faithful got some good news.

Champ Bailey, the former defensive back/receiver, was elected to the College Football Hall of Fame. Bailey, who was a teammate of Georgia coach Kirby Smart, will be inducted on Dec. 6. He is already a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame after a lengthy pro career with the Redskins and Broncos.

So Champ, you say. Is that a good sign for Georgia?
