The Atlanta Journal-Constitution is committed to continuing our normal features, where appropriate, during the coronavirus outbreak. For full coverage of the outbreak in Atlanta, please check our Coronavirus News Section. We have decided to continue Best of Alpharetta voting for the time being, despite social distancing. We encourage our readers to support local businesses after the authorities loosen the social distancing rules — along with supporting those businesses that offer delivery or pickup during the outbreak.
This month’s Best of Alpharetta poll results have shown that residents are excited about sharing where they enjoy dining alfresco.
The AJC asked readers to cast their votes for the best patio to dine in Alpharetta, and hundreds heeded the call — so much so that enough emails came for a write-in option to be added.
Here are the results.
In 10th place is Alpine Bakery, which got 1% of votes. Ninth place went to Local Expedition Wood Fired Grill, which was followed by Campania in eighth place and write-in option Never Enough Thyme in seventh place. Each of those patios got 2%, 4% and 5% of votes, respectively.
Butcher & Brew came in sixth place with 6% of votes and fifth place went to Smokejack BBQ, which garnered 7% of votes. It was followed by Kona Grill in fourth place. The sushi spot received 10% of votes.
Now for the top two spots.
Crú Food & Wine Bar and Pure Taqueria tied for second place. The Avalon wine bar and Roswell Street Mexican restaurant each garnered 13% of votes.
So which patio was deemed the best in Alpharetta? This month’s poll results show it’s Citizen Soul. The eatery, which infuses California cuisine with Southern heart and soul, won by a landslide with 40% of votes.
