The 1976 contemporary home in Sandy Springs was renovated in 2015 and has 5,540 square feet, five bedrooms, five full and two half baths.

Stone is a key material in the home, including the vanity and backsplash in one of the five full and two half baths. Asian-inspired statues and art also are displayed throughout.

Asian heirlooms are found throughout the Rosenhafts' home, including the chair in the living room that was passed down from Aaron's parents.

A geode resting on the glass coffee table in the living room was a gift to Sugandha Rosenhaft from her husband, Aaron.

Modern chrome pendants over a limestone countertop, along with the industrial range and hood and custom glass tile backsplash are key design elements in the kitchen. The exposed cedar beams also were restained.

Stonework throughout the house was custom by Aaron Rosenhaft, the homeowner and a general contractor. In the kitchen, top-of-the-line appliances are from Viking, Fhiaba and DCS by Fisher & Paykel.

A cafe booth from a restaurant warehouse that Aaron restored and custom fit to the space makes family meals casual and cozy.

The Rosenhafts wanted a clean, contemporary feel in their new kitchen, and since they enjoy entertaining, an island adds ease. New cabinetry and countertops from Builders Surplus were added in the six-month renovation.

The entryway features a new, contemporary door from Builders Surplus and a Buddha statue from Scott Antique Market that welcomes visitors to the Rosenhafts' home.

Botanical accessories add another layer of freshness to the modern makeover in the master bathroom, which also has sculpture on display.

The layout was changed in the main living space, such as removing walls that boxed in the space and relocating the dining area. The table and chairs are from Z Gallerie. Lighting throughout the home was updated by the Rosenhafts.

The Rosenhafts' collection of Asian-inspired art includes many pieces collected during their early years of marriage, including this intertwined, double-headed dragon statue.

Samara Rosenhaft's bedroom is playful with paisley and polka dots in tasteful teals and pinks. The white bed frame is from Pottery Barn Kids.

Gray tones are used in the home, paired with light walls and restrained cedar beam. The vaulted living room includes a Sagenhaft upright piano that Samara Rosenhaft plays.

Kids should have the freedom to be creative, said Sugandha Rosenhaft, an art educator. The loft overlooking the pool room gives her children their own space for play and artistic endeavors.

The pool room is easy to maintain since it's indoors, said Sugandha Rosenhaft, while her use of plants gives it the feel of an outdoor oasis. She shops for greenery at Pike Nurseries, Lowe's and The Home Depot.

The master suite, dining room and front entry all open up to the pool room, making it a central location for the family and for entertaining. A small table and Sugandha Rosenhaft's art easel show the many uses the fireside room offers, as a party space and an art studio.

Even with the doors closed, two fans added to the soaring ceilings provide cool breezes in the room, which receives plenty of natural light from the skylights and walls of windows.

The light and airy indoor pool room has enough space for the family and their guests to relax in chaises decorated with colorful pillows.

Aaron and Sugandha Rosenhaft, with children Samara, 9, and Liam, 6, bought their 1976 contemporary home in 2015 and completed a six-month renovation. Aaron is a general contractor and Sugandha, an art educator, owns La Dee Da in Sandy Springs.
